Things are moving along for the Brisbane Oratory in Formation. Yesterday we announced that Fr Adrian Sharp would be joining the community upon our establishment in 2015/16 and launched our social media sites.
Today we can reveal the official crest of the Oratory in Formation.
The new Brisbane Oratory in Formation Crest
- Blue & Gold are Brisbane City’s heraldic colours
- Blue also stands for Our Lady
- The gold M stands for Our Lady, Patroness of the Oratory in Formation
- Red is emblematic of the Sacred Heart and Blessed John Henry Newman
This crest will remain in use until the Oratory in Formation is formally established in 2015/16, whereupon it is likely to be reviewed.
