Featuring the choirs of The Brisbane Oratory in Formation and Artes Christi
Join us as the Oratory Choirs together with Artes Christi, including a choir and orchestra of fifty musicians, present a special evening of Advent music including Adam Lay Ybounden, This is the Record of John and HANDEL’S MESSIAH. Last Christmas, Artes Christi sang at the Vatican, Notre Dame Paris, and across Europe, so we are delighted to welcome them back to Brisbane after they sang here in 2012-14. The movements of HANDEL’S MESSIAH will include And the Glory of the Lord, Surely, For Unto Us, The Hallelujah Chorus and many others. The evening will last for 70 minutes. Bookings not required.
