Today we can announce that a further step has been taken towards the foundation of the Brisbane Oratory in Formation. Archbishop Mark Coleridge has appointed both Fr Sharp and Fr Chandler to the same parish effective January 4th 2014. Fr Sharp will be Parish Priest of Mary Immaculate Parish, Annerley on the south side of Brisbane. Fr Chandler will be priest-in-residence as he completes his doctoral studies. This is an opportunity for a preparatory stage which will lead to the formal and public establishment of the Oratory hopefully mid-year 2015. The Brisbane Oratory in Formation is immensely grateful to His Grace for this supportive decision.
